Evangelist Sales is a native of Buena Vista, Georgia. She is a graduate of Marion County High School. She furthered her education at Columbus Technical College in the field of cosmetology. She is the wife of Elder Ray Sales, Pastor of New Hope Church of God in Christ in Fort Valley, Georgia. In their union two children were born: Ray (Donnell) and Aelicia. She has additionally been blessed with a daughter -in- law, a son-in-law and twelve marvelous grandchildren. With the leading of the Lord, after ten years Evangelist Sales retired from cosmetology to pursue a career in banking.

She is known and serves in her community faithfully on the board of the Department of Family and Children Services in Marion County since 2006. She was elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Family & Children services November 28, 2023.

Evangelist Sales received Jesus as her Savior at the age of twenty-five and her life has not been the same since. In 1997 she received her official Evangelist/Missionary license from the Church of God in Christ, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. As a faithful servant she has held positions in the church on the Local, District and Jurisdiction level. She can be found doing whatever her hands can find to do in the ministry.

In 2015, Evangelist Sales was appointed to serve as a member of Northern Georgia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Women’s Department Steering Committee by Supervisor Cynthia L. Mattox. Evangelist Annie Sales is a woman of faith and excellence; She believes in giving God her best. She is committed to the mission of winning souls and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
