New Hope Church of God In Christ is a member of the Church of God In Christ (COGIC). The international headquarters of the church is in Memphis, TN under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop, Bishop John Drew Sheard Sr. The International Church is composed of Jurisdictions which are composed of districts, which are then composed of local individual churches. New Hope is in the Middle Georgia District under the leadership of the District Superintendent, Pastor David A. Taylor. The Fellowship District is in The Northern Georgia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction with headquarters in Thomson, Georgia under the leadership of the Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Mark Walden.
OUR VISION
As we proclaim Jesus, the Christ, as the Head of the Church and the manifested Word of God, our goal is to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding so·that it may be applied to our everyday lives in a practical and effective manner; thereby being transformed by Jesus Christ - we can change our immediate world and all those with whom we come in contact-ultimately meeting the needs of the whole person and making a mark that cannot be erased.

To fulfill the commission of Jesus Christ which is to reach the lost, to heal the brokenhearted, to encourage the mind and spirit through the Word of God, and to empower individuals to reach others for Christ.
Strengthen the whole person morally, spiritually, and physically through spirit-led pastoral teachings and bible study.
Promote spiritual awareness through training seminars and workshops.
Provide opportunities for involvement in worship services and church social activities.
Promote Missions and Evangelism in the local and distant areas of travel. Move into new areas of ministry as the Lord leads.

We Believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We Believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We Believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.
We Believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We Believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We Believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for human body in answer to believing in prayer.
We Believe that the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We Believe in the sanctify power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world.
